SATELLAI Trial Device Program Policy
(Deposit-Based Trial Program – Pre-sale Use Only)
This Trial Device Program (“Trial Program”) is designed for customers who are interested in purchasing a SATELLAI device but would like to verify compatibility in their real-life environment before committing to a full purchase.
By placing an order through the Trial Program checkout page, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Eligibility & Purpose
The Trial Program is intended for pre-sale customers who:

Have concerns about signal coverage, environment suitability, or feature fit

Meet basic usage requirements confirmed by our support team, including:

Usable LTE cellular coverage
-
Outdoor environment without extreme GPS obstructions
-
Minimum virtual fence size of 0.5 acres
-
Dog neck size 14 inches or larger
-
SATELLAI reserves the right to approve or decline Trial Program eligibility at its sole discretion.
2. Trial Device Type
-
Trial devices are brand new devices.
-
Devices are fully functional, inspected, and cleaned before shipment
-
Packaging may be simplified and is not retail packaging
Each trial shipment includes:

1 × Main device unit
-
1 × Accessory kit (charging cable, contact points, tester, quick-release buckle)
Trial devices are provided for evaluation purposes only and are not for resale.
3. Fees & Charges
Refundable Deposit
-
Deposit amount: USD $300
-
The deposit is refundable, subject to the conditions outlined in this policy
-
Refunds are issued to the original payment method
Shipping Fees
-
Customers are responsible for one-way outbound shipping (SATELLAI → customer)
-
Outbound shipping fees are non-refundable
-
SATELLAI will provide a free prepaid return shipping label for eligible returns
Subscription
-
A 1-month subscription is provided free of charge during the trial period
-
Subscription activation instructions will be provided separately
-
Subscription is for trial use only and does not imply long-term service activation
4. Trial Period & Activation Rules
-
Trial duration: 30 days, starting from the date the device is activated
-
If the device is not activated within 48 hours of delivery, the trial period will automatically begin on the 3rd day after delivery, regardless of activation status.

Trial extensions are not supported
If the device is not returned and no return tracking number is provided within the allowed timeframe, the trial will be considered completed and converted into a purchase (see Section 6).
5. Return Requirements & Timeline
Return Deadline
-
Customers must provide a valid return tracking number on or before Day 30
-
If no tracking number is provided by Day 40, the device will be considered kept
Condition Requirements
Returned devices must:
-
Be functional
-
Have no severe physical damage
-
Include required accessories (missing accessories may result in deductions)
Original packaging is not required.
6. Automatic Purchase Conditions
The trial will be automatically treated as a completed purchase if any of the following apply:
-
No return tracking number is provided within the allowed period
-
The device is lost, severely damaged, or not returned
-
The customer explicitly confirms they wish to keep the device
In such cases:
-
The $300 deposit will not be refunded
-
No additional payment is required unless upgrading to a brand-new unit
7. Customer Chooses to Purchase a New Device
If the customer decides to purchase a brand-new device instead of keeping the trial device:

The customer must return the trial device using the prepaid return shipping label provided by SATELLAI.

Once the returned device is received and passes inspection, the customer will be required to pay the price difference between the trial deposit and the retail price of the new device.

After payment is completed, SATELLAI will arrange shipment of the brand-new device.
-
The original trial deposit will be applied toward the new device purchase and is not refunded separately.
SATELLAI reserves the right to withhold shipment of the new device until the trial device is successfully returned and inspected.
8. Refund Assessment & Deductions
Full Refund (USD $300)
Issued when:
-
Device is returned on time
-
Device functions normally
-
Only minor cosmetic wear is present
-
Required accessories are included
Partial Refund
Deductions may apply for:
-
Excessive dirt or cleaning required
-
Missing accessories
-
Repairable physical damage
Deduction amounts may range from USD $10–150, depending on the condition.
No Refund
No refund will be issued if:
-
The device is not returned
-
The device is lost or irreparably damaged
-
Return requirements are not met within the stated timeline
9. Refund Processing Time

Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after device inspection
-
Actual posting time may vary depending on the payment provider or bank
10. Risk Disclosure & Usage Notes
By participating in the Trial Program, you acknowledge that:

LTE and GPS performance depend on location, terrain, weather, and environmental factors
-
GPS accuracy is best outdoors with a clear sky view
-
Indoor positioning may be inaccurate and is considered normal behavior
-
Signal performance may vary even within supported regions
The Trial Program is intended to help you evaluate these factors before purchase.
11. Abuse Prevention & Program Limitations
SATELLAI reserves the right to:

Limit participation in the Trial Program
-
Deny future trial requests in cases of suspected abuse
-
Modify or discontinue the Trial Program at any time
